neat how everyone’s different ! to me caring about my appearance doesn’t lead to disordered thoughts but for some it does which is why we should all find something that works uniquely to us ♡
Losing weight does not automatically = healthy.
Repeat after me,
losing weight does not automatically = healthy.
I could chop off my arm and lose weight, but does that make it healthy? NO.
Seriously?!
I say I am worried for a girls health and that girls will see a very very skinny (odds pointing to malnourished) girl and assume that that’s a healthy goal for them, and somehow me doing that’s a bad thing?! My goodness even when I have 100% good intentions somehow I’m the “bad” guy! People have gave me sh*t for only saying obesity is a bad thing and not mentioning anorexia, and now when I do touch on something similar to that, it’s a damn sin? Like my goodness I am trying to look out for people and make sure they don’t strive for a body image that would be unhealthy on most. The poor girls shoulder bones were sticking out her stomach was concave. Unless she has an extreme case of hyper thyroidism, in no way is that healthy. Goodness :/ and either way, it wouldn’t be healthy for any other body type to try to achieve that! Not even someone with her body type, because the only way that would be healthy is if she had hyper thyroidism! like wtf I am skinny I’m not going to skinny shame myself??? The girls body was just very extreme&sickly/malnourished looking and I felt something had to be said! I thought we were all against unhealthy bodies, unhealthy methods of losing weight, and unhealthy mindsets of what’s a realistic idea to strive for??!! I guess not!!!! I guess everything I say or suggest is “evil”!!!!
“don’t exercise to improve your image, exercise because you like it”
orrrr exercise for whatever reason you want as long as you’re doing it in healthy measures. stop trying to push your lack of care for your image on everyone else ffs. i hate how tumblr has that mindset. Like, looking better than your ex’s new girlfriend is your goal&motivation? Awesome! go kick ass.
stop telling people they’re only allowed to have certain motivations, it’s hard enough to get motivation as it is, and if somehow you try to make people feel bad because their motivation is more appearance based or something, then you are the problem.

._. never heard of that lol i’ll go check it out (plz God let it not be some gross thing hahah) then i’ll reblog this w my opinion!!
ok i just checked it out, i realize it means no shampooing now hahah!
i just did mini quick research and it seems to me like more girls w curly hair or african american hair do it and i don’t have that kind of hair so idk if it would work w me O: but it seems like they just don’t like how washing it so often doesn’t let the natural oils flow through. that’s why i only wash my hair every 3 days, bc the oil is able to naturally go through my hair. and honestly even when i shampoo every 3 days, it’s still pretty oily after i shampoo. that’s bc i use gentler shampoos made for damaged hair. so it still clarifies but still leaves a lil bit of oil in. so idk i wouldn’t go no shampoo at all i like being able to wash my hair it gives me comfort but honestly if this thing works for you i’d say it’s totally fine :D it is good to keep the natural oils in! but shampooing your hair every so often isn’t horrible either. i’d say shampooing every day wouldn’t be good though, and that’s what they’re comparing it to.
